Inflatable Play Zones for Parties, Schools and Family Events
Why hire one activity when you can create an entire play zone? Our Inflatable Play Zones bring different styles of entertainment together in one booking, giving children room to bounce, climb, explore and play at their own pace. They're particularly useful for events with a mixture of ages, where one standard bouncy castle might not offer quite enough variety.
From energetic youngsters charging through an assault course to toddlers happily exploring soft play, these setups can create distinct areas of activity without losing that colourful, coordinated party feel. They're a great choice for children's birthdays, school events, nurseries, family fun days, community celebrations and other occasions where keeping plenty of little people occupied is high on the agenda.
Three Ways to Play
At the energetic end of the scale is our Rainbow Assault Course. Bright, bold and made for children who would rather race than stand still, it adds climbing and obstacle-style play to the event. Children can work their way through, reach the finish and, more often than not, immediately head back to the beginning for another attempt.
For smaller adventurers, the Soft Play & Surround with Built-in Ball Pool & Bouncer creates a much more self-contained play environment. Instead of simply providing a few soft shapes, this setup combines several toddler-friendly activities within one dedicated zone. Little ones can explore the soft play, disappear into the ball pool and enjoy their own bouncer without needing to compete for space with much bigger children.
There's also our Soft Play with Surround, an excellent option when you want to establish a clearly defined soft play area at a birthday, christening, nursery event or family celebration. The surround helps make the play space feel like its own little destination within the wider party.
A Clever Choice for Mixed-Age Events
One of the biggest challenges at a family event is the age gap. A toddler and an energetic primary-school child have very different ideas about what constitutes a good afternoon.
Inflatable play zones help solve that problem. Younger children can enjoy age-appropriate activities from our Soft Play selection while older children tackle something much more energetic. At larger events, combining soft play with attractions from our Assault Course range can help separate different styles of play and give everyone something suited to them.
Great for Schools, Nurseries and Community Events
These play zones aren't restricted to birthday parties. They can work brilliantly at school fun days, nursery celebrations, PTA events and Family Fun Days, particularly where organisers need entertainment for siblings and children spanning several age groups.
Rather than concentrating everybody around one attraction, different activities encourage children to spread naturally around the available space. The Rainbow Assault Course can become the high-energy challenge area while the soft play equipment creates a gentler corner for younger visitors.
Build an Even Bigger Activity Area
If you've got the space, an inflatable play zone can become the starting point for a much larger entertainment setup. Add Garden Games for something families can enjoy together, introduce Inflatable Games for older children, or bring in Penalty Shootout for a little friendly competition.
Refreshments can sit alongside the play area too. Candy Floss Machine, Popcorn Machine or Twin Tub Slush Machine can create a handy refuelling station before the children inevitably disappear for another round.
From Toddler Exploring to Full-Speed Racing
That's really what makes our Inflatable Play Zones so useful: they don't assume every child wants to play in exactly the same way. One might be happily surrounded by soft play shapes, another could spend half the afternoon in the ball pool, while somebody else is already demanding their fifth run through the Rainbow Assault Course.
Choose the play zone that best matches your guests, venue and available space, or speak to 1st Bounce if you're putting together a larger event and need help deciding which combination will work. With the right setup, you can give the little ones their own world to explore while the bigger kids get on with the serious business of racing each other.
